The National Museum of American History depicts our nation's ever-changing culture over the few centuries it has existed and does so in an excitingly diverse manner. Artifacts on display range from Revolutionary War cannons, to Muhammad Ali’s boxing gloves, to Archie Bunker’s chair. In addition, the museum features several interesting galleries that showcase less than glamorous roles undertaken by the American social order, including an exhibit on Japanese-Americans and the U.S. Constitution, which examines the W.W.II internment camps; the political role of America’s First Ladies; and the Technological growth of our nation.
